KILVA
INSPIRED BY WOODEN SHINGLES.
For us, sustainability does not start as late as in production, but as early as in the development of ideas for new collections:
unique pieces can only be created by focusing on durability and a timeless design that you want to keep for a lifetime. There is therefore no better source of inspiration for our designers than nature.
Kilva owes its name to the cleaving power and the Scandinavian word for axe. The idea for this came to our designer while they were chopping wood in the forest. The split wood this resulted in is the core of the program, and it is particularly robust at the same time. There is a good reason for wooden shingles being used on many roofs. Their beautifully shaped serifs not only impress with their appearance, but are also water repellent. It is not only on roofs, but also in your home that shingles can give you a sense of well-being and security.
The warm lighting gives the oak shingles a special impact which is perfectly accentuated in combination with anthracite stained ash wood, metal elements and glass
